My Philosophy

I strongly believe that the true EXPERT on the baby is the baby’s MOTHER. My role is to empower the woman and support her with evidence-based information to work out her own unique path in building and nurturing a satisfying breastfeeding relationship with her baby or babies.

I am here for mothers or mothers-to-be at any stage of their breastfeeding journey: from wondering about breastfeeding while expecting a baby, through to the first days and weeks of bas life, to established breastfeeding and through to any stage at which you may find you need a listening ear and compassionate non-judgemental support and evidence-based information.

Other Work

I have worked as a Lactation Consultant at King’s College Hospital (Tongue-Tie Clinic) for 10 years (2015-2025) and can help with oral assessment of the baby and refer on as needed. I don’t perform frenulotomy procedure.

I run free local community-based breastfeeding support groups on a weekly basis.
