Private Breastfeeding Support
It is my pleasure to offer breastfeeding support for you and your baby in the comfort of your home. In addition to addressing all your breastfeeding concerns and questions, the standard consultation will cover comprehensive assessment of how the baby feeds at breast (if able to) and how effective is the milk transfer. We will together explore a variety of positions to find the most comfortable ones for you and your baby. I can fully assess your baby’s tongue mobility identifying any restrictions that may be challenging for breastfeeding.
After the first consultation I will follow up with you within the 7 days and can support you further at the weekly Deptford Breastfeeding Group or via phone/email.
I also offer Follow up Home Visits and Zoom sessions, Subscription WhatsApp Service as well as long-term Support Packages.
If the baby is not able to latch on the breast yet, you are concerned about low milk supply or trying to build up supply while being separated from your baby, I will support you with increasing and maintaining your milk production while helping the baby take the breast.
Whether you are planning to return to employment outside home and pondering how the breastfeeding would work, thinking about solids, considering winding down or have any technical questions, I am here to support you at any stage of your breastfeeding journey with your baby.
Initial Breastfeeding Support Session
£190 – Up to 2hrs
Popular for newborn visits and includes full assessment of positioning and the latch, oral assessment of the baby including for tongue-tie and milk transfer evaluation, weighing if needed.
We will address any concerns you may have and draw up an individual plan to protect milk supply and improve breastfeeding to achieve your breastfeeding goals.

Follow Up Breastfeeding Support Session
£150 – Up to 2hrs
Additional home visit, taken within 30 days of the Initial Session.

Zoom Session
£100 – 1 hour
There are limitations to a virtual session vs face to face consultation which you need to be aware of. I will ask you to email me photos/videos of current feeding as your breastfeeding concerns in advance and will then reply with what can be expected from a virtual consultation. There are creative ways to guide you when it comes to comfortable latch and positions, while hands-on tongue-tie assessment won’t be as easy. Whatever your question, by the end of the session you will be closer to the breastfeeding outcome you are looking for.
Your fee includes 2 weeks of follow-up via email.

At a price of a good coffee per day you can treat yourself / your loved one or a friend to a package of several Face to Face support sessions from me for those key points on your breastfeeding journey with your baby as well as unlimited WhatsApp support at your fingertips.
After the initial antenatal or early breastfeeding support visit further input from your Lactation Consultant is commonly sought at the following milestones but not limited to:
• 6-8 weeks with changes in nursing behaviour
• 4 months and the ‘age of distraction’
• Getting ready for solids – following the baby’s cues
• Working away from the baby/ adjusting to new circumstances
• Moving on from breastfeeding
3 Session Package
£400 – Save £90
This package is pre-paid in advance and is popular antenatally, with the initial session commonly taken before the arrival of the baby, second immediately after birth in hospital or early days at home and the third as and when it may be needed.
This package can be purchased as a Gift Certificate.
All 3 sessions need to be taken within 3 months of the first session.

COVID-19 Precautions
Please take note of the following terms in light of the current situation:
- The decision to meet face to face is a joint decision between both parties.
- Opting for in-person service implies assuming the risk of exposure to COVID-19 or other illness.
In addition to continuing to practice good hygiene when I am in your home, I am adding the following safety measures to my home visit terms:
- I will be washing my hands as often as necessary during the consultation. Please have soap and paper towels (or clean towel) available for me.
- I will be wearing appropriate PPE including a pair of vinyl gloves for oral examination of the baby only.
- I will need a clean muslin/blanket to put on my scale.
- Please let me know in a timely manner if you or anyone in your family is symptomatic of any illness.
- If you or anyone in your home has symptoms of COVID-19 or any illness, please disclose them to me at your earliest convenience so we can create a plan to keep us all safe and illness-free.
- In case of our own illness or family emergency, we will communicate with you in a timely manner and will make every effort to reschedule you or refer you to another IBCLC.
- Please note that I work at the Tongue-Tie clinic at the NHS Hospital on a weekly basis. I do not have contact with COVID-19 patients.

How Many Consultations Will I Need?
Often, one consultation is enough. I also offer Follow up Home Visits and Zoom sessions, as well as long-term Support Packages.
Holistic Support
As per my Scope of Practice, and being part of your Healthcare Team, I would ask you for your GP Surgery details and for your consent for me to share a short bullet-point report of the visit with your GP. You will always see a copy of it first.
